… I went over to the environmental dark side. Her father gave me John’s old A/C. I could not be more pleased; sleeping for the last 3 days has been next to impossible with the heat. My poor roommate seems to wake from her heat induced coma, as if into another planet some nights. She’ll peek downstairs from a nap, mumbles something that sound like an alien language, gets a drink of water and heads back for more.
I think she too will be very excited for our new appliance. Of course typical of Vermont, it poured rain and has cooled to a lovely 75 degrees…
